If on the other hand email is soon enough, please contact me at doug.strickland@gmail.com. You should expect an answer within hours if it's a work day. I usually have Google chat turned on, so if I'm sitting at a computer, you can IM me from there.
Resume
I wish that my resume fit neatly on a page or two. No really, I do. But it's gotten longer over the years. I've attempted to arrange it in order of importance, you know, like a newspaper article. I've tried removing parts, summarizing parts... The fact is that when you combine a true curiosity for complex things with a lifetime of pursuing interesting work, you end up with a three page resume. I think it works, you be the judge. The highlights include:
- I co-developed a SCORM compliant eLearning platform for The Ninth House Network.
- Analyzed requirements and wrote the design documents for Jetvolo - an itinerary matching system used by private charter companies to fill empty legs with potential customers. And vice versa.
- Wrote the social networking blueprint for Rock.com, a music enthusiast website.
- Built the first few prototypes of what is now called the Ionic Breeze.
